The Tamora is a dynamic alternating overlay system for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, which can work along side the Viola alternating cushion to provide 24 hour care to the patient. The mattress overlay consists of 20 removable cells, enabling each cell to be repaired or replaced when required. The mattress is supplied with a two-way stretch polyurethane waterproof and vapour permeable cover that helps to reduce shears and friction. To comply with infection control standards, the cover has welded seams and enclosed zips as standard to prevent fluid ingress and contamination of the mattress. The air feed tubing guards against cross infection. The mattress has securing straps to prevent mattress movement and a CPR function fitted as standard. The smooth, quiet pump has audio and visual alarms with one visual alarm that indicates the optimum inflation level.
