To set the system for the optimum performance, the user can control the comfort using the control knob whilst seated. Pressure indicators which are visible on the control unit identify when the pressure has reached the preset level and warn the user that the pressure is below an acceptable level. The cushion is provided with a two-way stretch polyurethane waterproof and vapour permeable cover, reducing shear and friction.
